LiMei 5G CPE Wireless Router Quick Start Guide
Here's a quick start guide for setting up a 5G CPE wireless router:
Step 1: Unboxing and Inspection
Open the package and take out the 5G CPE wireless router and its accessories.
Inspect the contents to ensure that you have all the necessary components, including the router, power adapter, Ethernet cable, and any other items that came with it.
Step 2: Placement
Choose a suitable location to place your router. It should be close to a power outlet and have good 5G signal reception.
Keep the router away from obstructions like walls, large metal objects, and other devices that may interfere with the signal.
Step 3: Power Connection
Connect the power adapter to the router's power port.
Plug the other end of the power adapter into a nearby power outlet.
Turn on the router using the power button, if available.
Step 4: 5G SIM Card Insertion
Locate the SIM card slot on the router.
Open the slot using a SIM card ejector tool or a small pin.
Insert the 5G SIM card into the slot, ensuring that the gold contacts are facing down.
Close the SIM card slot securely.
Step 5: Network Connection
If you want to connect your computer or other devices to the router using an Ethernet cable, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the router's LAN port and the other end to your device.
Alternatively, you can connect to the router wirelessly using Wi-Fi. Look for the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password on the router or its packaging.
Step 6: Initial Setup
Open a web browser on your computer or device connected to the router.
Type the default IP address of the router in the address bar. Common addresses are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
You will be prompted to enter the router's default username and password. Consult the router's manual or packaging for this information.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, which may include creating a new username and password, selecting network settings, and configuring wireless security.
Step 7: Connect to the Internet
Once the initial setup is complete, your router should automatically connect to the 5G network using the inserted SIM card.
Wait for a few moments until the router establishes a stable connection to the 5G network.
Step 8: Verify and Test
Check the LED indicators on the router to ensure that the necessary lights are on, indicating a successful connection.
Test the internet connection by opening a web browser and visiting a website or performing a speed test.
Congratulations! Your 5G CPE wireless router is now set up and ready to use. If you encounter any issues or require additional configuration, consult the router's user manual or contact the manufacturer's support for further assistance.
